Sylvia Nickel, Founder, CPA-CMA
​Sylvia has specialized in both not-for-profits, and Canadian and US public companies, with extensive experience in accounting system implementations, management discussion and analyses, reverse takeovers, and mergers and acquisitions. Sylvia’s over twenty-five years of experience in both audit and industry has provided an essential understanding of operations, leading system implementations, treasury management, deal economics, change management and process re-engineering. By employing her expertise with these areas, Sylvia assists not-for-profits and companies to position themselves to receive financial support and achieve their ventures. Sylvia concentrates her efforts in many sectors, including education, community organizations, charities, technology, mining, manufacturing, commodities trading, retail and wholesale distribution, and oil and gas. With extensive knowledge of both Canadian and US GAAP, Sylvia is of great benefit to companies (both not-for-profit and profit), especially with regard to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).  

In addition, Sylvia holds the position as Board Chairperson for Globalfaces, a non-profit organization unleashing the abilities of children with non-visible disabilities.
